Covid Safe Service
Sundays @ 12:00 noon
In response to the latest surge of COVID, we have been in prayerful consideration about how to best provide the opportunities to come together and worship God. As a congregation, that is primary in our mission: to reach up in worship to God. So how do we do that as a congregation in the midst of the Omicron surge?
Across our congregation we are very unified in our desire to worship God, but very diverse in our comfort levels and health situations as it regards COVID. Many people are still comfortable worshiping as we have been over the last few months, while others desire more protection. Accordingly, we are going to continue with the Saturday 5pm and Sunday 10am services as they are, while also adding an additional service at noon on Sunday which will have strong safety protocol in place.
The following protocol will be in place for the noon service:
-
Temperature screening will be done upon arrival
-
We will ask for proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test taken within the last 72 hours
-
N95 or KN95 masks will be worn (If you don't have your own, we will have some on hand)
-
Every other pew will be blocked off to ensure distancing.
-
Communion will be done outside (as was done at the regular service several months ago)
This additional service will continue only through the end of the Omicron surge.
I look forward to worshiping with you this weekend!
